- Ask about their insurance policy so that you can make sure your things are covered while in their possession.
- Get an estimate. It's a possible red flag if they ask for money up front for a deposit to schedule the move. Be skeptical of a super low rate, lower than any other estimate you received. It may also be a red flag for a fraudulent company trying to take advantage of customers or they are possibly uninsured.
